Greg Valliere, the Washington-based chief global strategist with Horizon Investments and a well-known political handicapper, writes that Trump’s struggling campaign organization “may be getting its act together” and that his weak fund-raising effort is starting to pick up.

Though Trump is trailing in the polls, it’s “hardly an insurmountable margin with over four months to go, and more importantly, he is virtually tied in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania,” writes Valliere. “If Trump can carry those states in November—unlikely, but not impossible—he’s got a path to 270 electoral votes.”
