Fund lineup now totals 16 funds and more than $4 billion in AUM
Expansion Leaders ETF (EXPN) and High Income ETF (YLDY) bring compelling new actively managed strategies to market for advisors and investors
CHARLOTTE, NC (August 12, 2026) – Horizon, a provider of highly customized investment and technology solutions designed to fuel the growth of financial advisors, is today announcing the further expansion of its lineup of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) with the introduction of two new funds.
Launching today on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE):
- Horizon High Income ETF (YLDY): Seeks to provide investors with attractive current income while minimizing the cyclicality and sector concentration associated with other fixed income and equity dividend strategies. The fund is built around an actively managed U.S. large cap equity portfolio with an option hedge overlay to target an attractive annual distribution yield; and
- Horizon Expansion Leaders ETF (EXPN): Seeks capital appreciation by investing in companies positioned to benefit from periods of economic expansion and rising inflation expectations, complemented by an actively managed gold and commodity securities options overlay.
EXPN and YLDY bring the number of funds in the Horizon ETF suite to 16, an impressive number given Horizon began launching its ETFs at the start of 2025. Asset growth across the funds has been substantial as well, with ETF assets totaling more than $4 billion as of August 3, 2026.
“One of the hallmarks of our approach has been to seek out those ‘blank spaces’ in the ETF ecosystem where advisors could not already find simple, single-ticker tools to assist in addressing some of their most complicated portfolio challenges,” said Horizon’s Head of Product, Clark Allen, CFA®, CPA, CAIA®.
“With EXPN, we’ve delivered a fund designed to seek equity growth while accounting for an inflationary and expansionary economic regime, something top of mind for many market watchers as we head further into 2026. With YLDY, we’ve created an income alternative that provides higher income through a call overlay on a portfolio of high-quality, dividend-tilted equities,” added Allen.
In addition to continuing to expand its ETF lineup, Horizon recently added new talent to the firm with the completion of its acquisition of Anfield Capital Management.
“You can’t build great products without great people,” said John Drahzal, President & CEO of Horizon. “The teams behind these new funds are some of the best in the business. We’re thrilled with the growth in these funds so far, and we’re eager to maintain the momentum we’ve built in providing financial advisors with the technology, tools, and solutions they need to deliver on behalf of their own clients.”
